Rebuilding the heart comes from within..
As we celebrate another Valentine’s day… it may bring about sadness as we remember old hurts and regrets or lost loved ones.
Be gentle with your heart. Love it, nurture it, but don’t coddle it.
If you’ve been hurt in the past…you will be able to trust again, to open your heart again to greener pastures and more loving interactions.
As this is Valentine’s month and a one where relationships are on the mind – especially if you don’t currently have a significant one in your life, it may be important to remember in healing that our primary relationship is with ourself and from that all others flow.
Take what steps you need to this month to take care of yourself – heal your heart by taking care of the “inner you” first.
As Louis Hay, the founder of Hay House Publishing and best selling author of the book You Can Heal Your Life, was so often reminding us the first and most important person to love is right in front of you in the mirror….regardless of your judgements about your looks, regardless of your good choices or your mistakes and blunders, regardless of your triumphs or tragedies. The underlying essence of who you are is love, and you are loved loving and loveable. Peace and blessings to you along with a Happy Valentine’s Day!
